The TCC (or true crime community) is a harmful fanbase dedicated to grotesque crimes and their perpetrators such as school shooters, bombers, murderers, and more. The term "True Crime Community" is very misleading as it seems to be something made to spread awareness on these issues or explain the stories in a way that is objective and not taking the side of the criminal, but that is not the case. People in this community rally together and have been known to act in similar ways to the criminals they idolize and schools are facing the consequences. The community is especially harmful across social media as it is gaining a younger audience and those who are mentally ill, which makes them susceptible  to taking on these beliefs themselves. I (and many others) want to put an end to making social media & schools unsafe by taking the steps to remove the platform for these harmful acts.
