Hunterdon Central Regional High School needs new leadership. Dr. Jeff Moore has created a toxic environment for both students and staff while our academic achievement has suffered. 

Dr. Moore allowed a May 2022 pro-abortion demonstration to proceed that endangered hundreds of students and tolerated obscene behaviors. He then lied to the public saying that the campus was secure. He also claimed he made efforts to disperse the children and get them back to class. Neither of those claims was true and video from the day contradicted his account. Dr. Moore is seen on video walking around with his hands in his pockets. 

The public outcry at Board meetings demanding his termination or resignation has been ignored. There have been no consequences for his negligence and violation of the policy on student demonstrations.

A mob of angry, violent students is impossible to control and it was by sheer luck that someone wasn't seriously injured. 

His actions, or lack of, have continuously caused Hunterdon Central to be the focus of controversial news stories. 

In 2021, staff members spoke out against 'anti-bias' training that painted white teachers as inherently racist. 

Most recently, select staff members were invited to a drag show involving students held by the PULSE Club during block 5. The email was leaked to the community and parents were shocked that such an event would be held at the high school without their knowledge.

At the November 21 meeting, Dr. Moore maintained that this event did not violate any policy.  However, visitors logs confirmed adult performer Kevin Gilmore aka Phoebe Manntrappe was on campus. 

Pictures shared on his Instagram the day of the event shows a scantily clad and pantless Manntrappe on the stage of the Little Theatre. While it could be argued a drag show is inappropriate for a high school setting for a variety of reasons, at minimum his attire was inappropriate. Parents were not asked for consent prior to student participation. 

Dr. Moore has publicly expressed his disdain for parents that may have concerns about an adult performer appearing in a secretive show during school hours. On November 21st, he confirmed that he is unable to represent all of the parents of this District.

During a long-winded speech at the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Moore stated, "You're not exposing an agenda and you're not protecting anybody. You're just modeling reckless nastiness and I already know everything I need to know about that problem." 

His words and actions continue to be divisive and intolerant of parental views that may differ from his own. 

Ironically, this drag show was held on the same day that outside spectators were temporarily banned from attending sports events. Dr. Moore issued a statement to the community without having the full facts from an incident on October 26 and slandered multiple students as racists in the process.

No apology or correction has been issued now that video evidence has shown that incident was not a bias incident.

While spectators were banned from sports, including the Girl's Volleyball team's Senior Night celebrations, this outside performer was still permitted to attend this show. 

Staff members penned a letter expressing their discontent with how recent decisions have been made. 

Dr. Moore has demonstrated bias and poor judgment repeatedly. At the November 21, 2022 meeting he stated that he is "too busy, too focused and too weary to entertain" emails critical of his decisions. If Dr. Moore cannot be bothered to respond to ALL stakeholders,  he is failing our community. He is a liability to the District.

Remove Superintendent Jeff Moore because of his proven track record of dishonesty, poor judgement, and evading accountability to parents. Our children and community deserve a leader that will represent everyone with integrity.
