Remove Stephanie M. Casey from Dallas County Position

Remove Stephanie M. Casey from Dallas County Position
The Issue
Stephanie M. Casey, Commissioner of District 3 in Dallas County, has repeatedly demonstrated through her actions that her primary interest lies not in the welfare of animals but rather in personal financial gain.
As someone deeply concerned about the treatment and safety of animals in Dallas, I have observed and compiled evidence through numerous posts and videos that clearly indicate her questionable practices.
Firstly, Casey supports dangerous and illegal adoptions of dogs in Dallas County. These actions have raised significant alarm among animal rights advocates and caring citizens alike. The safety and well-being of these vulnerable animals seem secondary to her agenda, which is unacceptable given her position of authority and the trust placed in her.
Moreover, Casey’s approach to "marketing" for dog rescues is financially burdensome for many passionate individuals and organizations dedicated to saving these animals. She has been known to demand an exorbitant amount of $4500 to promote a "minimum" of ten dogs over just a two-week span. This is an unjustifiable cost considering that many dedicated rescuers volunteer their time and resources to do much more without any fee.
These actions not only undermine the efforts of genuine animal lovers and rescue groups but also put the lives of innocent animals at risk. Her practices create an unnecessary financial burden on those who are trying legitimately to care for and rehome these animals. By removing her from this influential position, we have an opportunity to place a true animal advocate in her stead who values the lives and well-being of our animals above monetary profit.
Join me in demanding the immediate removal of Stephanie M. Casey from her position as Commissioner of District 3 in Dallas County. Let's ensure that the interests of vulnerable animals are prioritized and safeguarded. We need leadership that truly supports the rescue community and embodies the compassion that our furry friends deserve. Please sign this petition to help bring about the necessary change for the animals of Dallas County.
