Petitions to remove Skill Based Matchmaking for Call of Duty have been around for a very long time, and while everyone is very vocal, these petitions have never really gain community support, even though people consistently express their dislike of SBMM.

Let us attempt to make this different.

With the recent release of XDefiant we can clearly see the benefits of an arcade shooter WITHOUT SBMM.

The goal of this petition is to reach 100k signatures, and hopefully have a few online news outlets cover it.

This is just a simple request for Treyarch to remove SBMM from their Quick Play multiplayer playlists. 

SBMM hurts casual gaming, having SBMM in Ranked gameplay is fine, however in a casual playlist, it takes the fun out of the game. For more in depth details feel free to look up ANY Black ops 6 content creator on YouTube who has decided to address the issue.

As an Australian, we have a significantly smaller player base than the US, as a result the wait times for games can be quite extensive in Quick Play due to the system trying to SBMM a lobby. 

While US and EU players may not experience this, they would experience doing well in a few matches and then getting absolutely wrecked in the next ones.

While the intention of SBMM is to create a consistently fair matchup, it fails to do this, and we have clearly seen the benefits of removal of SBMM in other Online Multiplayer shooters.
