Remove Sara Haines from "What Would You Do?"

The Issue

John Quiñones' What Would You Do? has been a staple of American television since 2008, with recent seasons reaching nearly 3 million people. Drawing from current events and pressing social problems, What Would You Do? (WWYD) gives the American public the chance to see how ordinary people react to real-world issues. The success and impact of the show can be largely attributed to its charismatic and experienced host, John Quiñones. However, in the most recent two seasons, a new co-host has been introduced: Sara Haines, formerly of The View. Haines is not a good fit for WWYD, with her frantic and insecure demeanor contrasting sharply with Quiñones' wise, calming presence. Haines struggles to reach the level of clarity in her interviews that Quiñones is able to achieve, and her mid-show commentary falls flat and is often jarringly unfunny. This has made watching WWYD into a bittersweet experience, with Quiñones' excellent segments clashing harshly with Haines' inferior content, degrading the quality of the show for its millions of fans.

Currently, Haines' influence is quarantined to a single segment per show, and already this is too much. If not removed completely, Haines could continue to cannibalize airtime as future seasons air.

It is essential to communicate to ABC that Haines is not a suitable co-host for Quiñones or potential heir to the WWYD throne. The WWYD viewership needs to make its voice heard before this two-season experiment becomes an irrevocable stain on Quiñones' legacy.
