RRHA waitlist went live 02/27/2023 for the new apartments. The new apartments were NOT available to apply at 8:30am. Kenyatta Green stated that the person that was supposed to list the apartments were not at work this morning on time to do so. Steven Nesmith initially said he would have the applications that applied before the apartments were listed pulled. After speaking to Fatima Hargrove, her response was that, the only thing that could be done was to extend the waitlist time to apply. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THE RESPONSE FROM HER WAS NON-CHALANT. He back tracked on his agreement to pull the people that applied on time and place them in their adequate spots. WE DESERVE A FAIR CHANCE AT AFFORDABLE HOUSING ‼️

THE PEOPLE THAT WERE ON SITE AND APPLIED NEED TO BE RECOGNIZED IN THAT POSITION. NOT THE POSITION THEY WERE ABLE TO GET INTO, ONCE RRHA STAFF SHOWED UP FOR WORK AND LISTED THE NEW APARTMENTS.
