There have been many issues with the Darien, IL location of Q Bar and Robert (Bob) Taft’s attitude and behavior. While we acknowledge that Mr. Taft is allowed to run his business as he sees fit, we do not agree that he should be a member of our city government in any capacity. Mr. Taft’s actions do not fit with our city slogan “A Nice Place To Live”. In fact, he is currently planning on bringing a performer with known ties to extremist hate groups to our town.

We ask that Mr. Taft be removed from his position on the Economic Development Committee and barred from future appointments or offices within Darien, IL
