As a dedicated member of the Lumina Discord community, I have witnessed firsthand the actions taken by River, a current moderator, and I can no longer remain silent. Her behavior has consistently undermined the harmony and inclusivity of our space.

River's approach to moderation has been less than professional, often exhibiting bias and partiality that have left many community members feeling alienated and unheard as well as supporting the wrong people which ultimately endangers others.

Moderators on platforms like Discord are meant to embody fairness, foster community spirit, and uphold the rules transparently. When these principles are compromised, the community suffers. It becomes essential to ensure that those in positions of authority are both deserving and capable of maintaining the role's integrity.

Lumina has thrived as a space for its users to connect, learn, and share their interests and find people who have the same interests. To preserve this ethos, we need moderators who are impartial, respectful, and just. Unfortunately, River's record over her tenure has shown repeated instances where this standard has not been met.
