Remove Repeat Offender David Willey from Honicknowle, Plymouth For Local Children Safety
The Issue
As a local resident who lives 5 minutes from Honicknowle, Plymouth and leader of an online paedophile hunting team called UK Database, I am deeply concerned about the safety of our children here. Our community is under threat by a self confessed, four-time offender named DAVID WILLEY, who continues to reside here. Not only is he a few minutes walk from a school but his house overlooks the local park, where many local kids play.
David openly admits to having an attraction to children, especially those in leggings and has been intercepted twice by hunting teams since January 2024. He has attempted to meet two teenage girls, after speaking sexually to them without any care or remorse when confronted.
He has shockingly been released AGAIN on bail & just two days after release, has been spotted loitering outside the school next to his house … concerned parents took action alerting the school staff and police and yet still nothing has been done and he is left to roam the streets.
Myself & colleagues from various hunting teams around the UK share huge concerns and believe David’s behaviour is escalating. He shows no signs of remorse and we are worried that it is only a matter of time before he ends up attempting to harm another child. David already admitted to us that he would likely harm a child to silence them if needed.
His presence puts our children at risk and it's time we take action to safeguard them!
David Willey has admitted offending and abusing at least four times for offences against minors. Despite his repeat offending, he remains in our community, where he poses an ongoing danger to our children. This is not just about one individual's actions but about the broader issue of child safety in Honicknowle.
Why can’t Devon & Cornwall see how much of a risk this individual is to our children? Why are they not taking more serious measures to safeguard children from him? The only thing that will definitely stop his offending and make sure he will no longer be a threat to children, would be to have him remanded into jail until his court case(s).
He has no respect for his bail conditions already in place, admitting that he had a new phone being delivered and only a week after being arrested, was back online arranging to meet children for sexual reasons yet again!
The UK has strict laws against sexual offenders…
However, these laws are obviously not enough and neither are the conditions around their bail or the sentences they receive. This can be clearly seen if repeat offenders like David continue to live amongst us without any real restrictions.
Most offenders are given minimal sentences & rarely given jail sentences. This needs to change!!
Left to his own devices David is free to continue grooming kids and has already admitted to abusing two very young girls ages 3 and 4. One being his own daughter who was removed by social services.
We call on local authorities and law enforcement agencies to remove David Willey from his home in Honicknowle and relocate him away from any potential victims, schools or parks! We also urge them to review their policies on housing repeat offenders within communities where they pose a threat.
Our children deserve safe spaces where they can grow up without fear. Let's ensure that Honicknowle becomes such a place again by removing this dangerous individual from our midst.
We as a community are worried for our children! We are disappointed & angered with the lack of concern and actions taken to safeguard the children of Plymouth by Devon & Cornwall police.
We want to make it known we condone no violence towards David or his property… .but we are willing to take the necessary but LEGAL action to get this dangerous individual removed from where he resides.
No child is safe while he is walking our streets completely unmonitored! Please sign this petition today and help us protect the most vulnerable members of our society - our children.
Thank you.
