Every child is entitled to a fair and safe education. It is embodied within our laws and the school board district rules for teacher professional conduct. However, this has been violated. Our civil rights are being violated. The Wayne Board of Education has recently hired [Redacted] whose social media posts, which were previously public which are complete with antisemitic and violent viewpoints towards Jewish people. The Board of Education has so far refused to take any action, in explicit violation of their own guidelines, going so far is to state that teachers are entitled to express their own viewpoints on social media. This contradicts, explicitly the board rules for professionalism of teachers. This is somebody who should not be in our schools and subject our students to a strong likelihood of mistreatment abuse, whether explicit or implicit.  We are creating this petition to solicit signatures from other parents to seek the immediate removal of this teacher from our classrooms, and to protect our children from hateful, offensive, antisemetic, and inappropriate behavior by teachers.
