Last fall semester, I enrolled in an ENGL102 class at Bridgewater State University, I found myself faced with discomfort and unease because of the inappropriate actions of my professor, Kevin Farrell. During class, Professor Farrell acted on behaviors that were both unsettling and uncomfortable, making it hard for me to focus on my education.

after leaving a comment on Tiktok i found other students with similar experiences, I discovered that I am part of a larger, disturbing pattern. Multiple women have faced similar behaviors from Kevin Farrell at both Bridgewater State University and Lasell University. This pattern of behavior is not just offensive; it undermines the safety and learning environment that every student has a right to expect.

I reported it to the title IX office they claimed they couldn't do anything. they only removed me from the class. now a year later I'm a semester behind because after dealing with that emotionally draining experience i fell behind in my classes and struggled to keep up.

It is necessary that Bridgewater State University and Lasell University take immediate action to address these allegations by thoroughly investigating Kevin Farrell's behavior, be found guilty, dismiss him from his teaching duties. No student should be subjected to such distressing experiences, and universities have a responsibility to uphold the highest standards of conduct among their staff.

Lets hold our educational institutions accountable for ensuring a safe learning environment for everyone. Please sign this petition to urge both universities to take appropriate action and protect their students from further inappropriate conduct.
