In a shocking and horrifying incident that has left many TikTok users feeling disturbed and outraged, a man known as Onebeesking publicly livestreamed a brutal act of domestic violence on the popular social media platform. This man, from Jamaica had abused a woman over a horrifying nine-month period after she travelled to Jamaica to be with him. The full extent of this abuse came to light when, horrifyingly, over 400 viewers witnessed him brutally assaulting her during a supposedly mundane livestream.
In those terrifying moments, the woman, already a victim of prolonged domestic abuse, was subjected to a barrage of violence. She was punched, kicked, and struck with various objects, including a chair, a screwdriver, a belt, and a stick. In a brutal act of humiliation, he also exposed her naked body to the livestream audience. Such an inhumane act not only constitutes clear physical and emotional abuse but has also caused immense distress among viewers, leaving many traumatized and disturbed by the graphic and violent nature of the content.
The fact that this content was broadcast live on TikTok, reaching many unsuspecting viewers, highlights a severe lapse in the platform’s policies against violent content. More alarmingly, despite this event and in direct defiance of moral and legal standards, Onebeesking continues to use TikTok, mocking and laughing about the incident. This blatant disregard for human dignity and safety cannot and should not be tolerated.
We urge TikTok to take immediate, decisive action by removing Onebeesking from their platform permanently. By doing so, TikTok will send a strong message that violence and abuse have no place on their platform.
