My life, and the lives of my friends and family here in Baileyville, ME, have been significantly impacted by the unprofessional conduct of Officer Borden. Personally, I've faced harassment and  profiling by him, creating an atmosphere of fear and distrust within our community. Unfortunately, this isn't just my story. Many residents here share similar experiences, with surrounding communities even expressing reluctance to visit Baileyville in light of Officer Borden's behavior.

Officer Borden’s actions go beyond minor misconduct. He has a pattern of conducting unreported traffic stops, engaging in inappropriate conversations with women, later tracking them on social media such as Facebook. His own colleagues admit that his actions complicate their duties, tarnishing the reputation and trust in local law enforcement.

Moreover, there are documented instances of him engaging in dangerous behavior such as drinking and driving, and recklessly shooting a shotgun out of a sunroof. Such recklessness poses not just a personal risk but a public safety threat to everyone in the vicinity.

This pattern of behavior amounts to serious misconduct, which gravely undermines the integrity of the police department. It's high time we demand accountability and the initiation of a thorough investigation into these allegations.

We need a police force we can trust, one that protects and serves all citizens without bias or prejudice. Officer Borden’s actions have eroded that trust, and it's crucial that we restore it.
