The time has come for transformative change in the city of Harlingen. Our community is at a critical juncture, and we need leadership that truly represents the interests and values of our residents. Unfortunately, under the leadership of Mayor Norma Sepulveda, many citizens feel that our city has not been moving in the right direction.

There have been significant concerns regarding transparency and accountability in her administration. Local governance should prioritize the needs and voices of its population, yet many residents believe that key opportunities for growth and development have been missed. The stagnant economic growth that has plagued us is a significant concern for all who call Harlingen home.

Moreover, while Harlingen should be thriving, we continue to face issues related to public safety and community welfare. The response to pressing problems has been inadequate. It's crucial to have a mayor who listens and acts swiftly on community feedback and recommendations. The consistent lack of meaningful dialogue between residents and current leadership is something we can no longer accept.

We propose the removal of Mayor Sepulveda and the appointment of a leader truly committed to positive change and community engagement. This change is necessary for the betterment of our city and to foster the success of future generations.
