On November 3, 2017, The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) issued a resolution accusing Mayor Andres David Lacson of being engaged in illegal drug trade or activity. The mayor of Concepcion Tarlac denies this resolution as baseless and malicious. We the people of Concepcion, and friends of the mayor around the globe believe the mayor is innocent. We are expressing our support with Mayor Andres Lacson by asking President Rodrigo Duterte and NAPOLCOM to remove his name from the list as narcopolitician immediately. We are also asking the Department of Interior and Local Government to reinstate his supervisory power over the local police. Last July 17, 2017, Mayor Lacson received a special commendation from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency from the Director of Region 3 for his support to the government's campaign against illegal drugs.The PDEA commendation came after the local police arrested 3 barangay councilors and 2 municipal employees for their involvement in illegal drugs. Mayor Andy David  Lacson is a dedicated public servant and has served our hometown honorably for the last 22 years starting as youth leader (Sanguniang Kabataan) councilman, Vice Mayor for three terms, and two terms as Mayor. He is a  great public servant who is  tough on law and order including the campaign against  illegal drugs.
