Our Mayor, Leonard Krog, and the City Council are playing a very dangerous game with everyone's lives and livelihoods. From businesses to neighborhoods, the current public safety measures they have applied are not working. It is failing, putting people's lives and businesses in danger. Mayor Krog has become a powertripper and a wreckless ruler of the Nanaimo's "Political Joint" we call Nanaimo's City Hall

Cutting short/ often blocking the publics  "Statements or Presentations" during the monday night council meetings that are VITAL to the Functioning and Public safety of Nanaimo. I too was removed, not arrested from a meeting in regards to the Public Safety issue.

Recently Krog has gone bellow what we all thought he would not go... he has started pulling and seizing Protest signs from highly  "crime sensitive"  Neighborhoods.

The public simply cannot Protest anything these days... His Fake Security Detail (Bylaw CSOs) will make the threat of fines and such for openly publically protesting against any of Krogs  Projects.

AAP to Supportive Housing, any protests are banned by Krog!

Krog has also favored a no show policy which doesnot penalize our CSO and Bylaw officers for not showing up for scheduled 24 hour 7 days or nights per week schedule to patrol nanaimos Marginalized Groups Addicts and Mentally ill in the downtown business district and certain high risk neighborhoods.  

Nanaimo's City council is free to roam about which is a very dangerous direction of a 3 ringed political circus, that endangers lives.

I have suggested his Mayoral peers Vancouver and Victoria to take a stand and have Krog  Take a Look at what he has done.  Maybe perhaps an intervention.  The funds that he received from the government that were issued by Mr.Farnworth need to be further investigated to see if he misused the funds putting public safety at risk.
