Our beloved city of New Bedford is at a crossroads. Under the leadership of Mayor John Mitchell, New Bedford has been facing a multitude of challenges that are escalating by the day. Unfortunately, instead of addressing these issues, it seems like Mayor Mitchell's leadership is pushing our city further into disarray.

As a resident of this city, I have witnessed firsthand the decline in public services, the mismanagement of city resources, and the disregard for community concerns. Roads are neglected, public safety is compromised, and local businesses are suffering. We cannot stand by and watch as our city's prosperity is jeopardized by ineffective governance.

In the past year alone, numerous projects that promised revitalization and economic growth have either stalled or failed under his administration. The promises of transparency and accountability remain unfulfilled, and the disconnect between city hall and the residents is growing wider.

Change is not only necessary but urgent. By electing leaders who genuinely care about the well-being of our city over personal politics, we can build a New Bedford that is thriving and vibrant. We need a leader who listens, understands, and acts in the best interests of all citizens, not just a select few.
