During Jason Kuhl’s tenure books promoting grooming for child sex abuse and trafficking were circulated in the children’s sections as well as genital mutiliation of children. Adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and advocates of protecting children pushed hard for his removal. Kuhl also attempted to close multiple libraries that functioned as safe spaces for low income children and families. The citizens pushed back hard. Apparently Kuhl got the message. Our next step is to insure our new library CEO gets a proper background check to insure we are not stuck with another social Piranha and deviant. As you may recall Mr. Kuhl had a history of misconduct and was run out of Arlington Chicago by parents before he was hired in St. Charles County. We want a thoroughly vetted candidate this time!
