At the 2024 DNC, Israeli hostage families spoke while Palestinian people were banned from speaking.  Jaime Harrison seemed to worry more about Republicans and Moderates than half-or about more than half his own party who want a permanent, immediate ceasefire and a weapons embargo against Israel.  Even the JStreet PAC, which wants a two-state solution, condemned the DNC for not letting Palestinian people speak.  They could’ve let both sides speak, but only let Israel share their voice.  No wonder progressives are protesting and flocking to Jill Stein and Cornel West- as much as I’d like to defeat Trump as he’d be much worse than Kamala about this.  Kamala needs to have a plan of action rather than just say “Israel has the right to defend itself” and “we need to stop the suffering in Palestine.”

Unfortunately, Jaime not only ignores protestors, but trolls and attacks them on instagram.  This is not okay and only causes more division.  He shouldn’t be DNC head if progressives are losing trust in the Democratic Party.  He is also firmly pro-Israel while saying nothing about Palestine.  To unite our party to defeat Trump, we need to dump Jaime and replace him with someone who will listen to protestors, like Keith Ellison.

During his South Carolina senate campaign, Harrison received over $600 for Democratic Majority for Israel.  Many Palestinians wanted to speak at the convention, but Harrison denied them a spot, worrying that it would throw off more conservative voters who are against Trump.  Over 80% of Democrats want a ceasefire and the party as well as Biden and Harris have repeatedly failed to deliver for them.  Pro-Palestine are being punished, censored, and arrested while Pro-Israel Protestors and Netanyahu are being honored in Congress.
