I never imagined I'd be in a position where I'd need to rally the community to remove a manager, but here we are. This isn't an easy step, but it's a necessary one for the wellbeing of Piqua Center, our beloved mall. Helga Leap, the current manager, has left us with no choice. Her actions have recently crossed a line when she attempted to protect and keep in employment a man whose behavior has been nothing short of disgraceful.

The incident at Piqua Center has shaken many of us. When someone in a position of authority chooses to support wrongdoing instead of enforcing standards of decency, it undermines the trust we place in them. Helga Leap’s decision to stand by this individual's side, rather than address the serious concerns of staff and customers alike, is both alarming and unacceptable.

Piqua Center is more than just a shopping destination; it’s a community hub where families come to enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. Having a manager who shields inappropriate behavior threatens that atmosphere.
