I want to sincerely thank everyone who has signed and supported the petition so far. Your support truly means a lot, and every signature helps bring attention to an issue that cannot be ignored.

I have now heard back from Corrective Services, however I am not satisfied with the generic response provided. I strongly believe more can and should be done, and the current slow pace of change is still costing people their lives. Because of this, I will continue pushing this petition… lives depend on it.

So Please continue to share this petition far and wide. The more awareness we raise, the stronger our voice becomes in calling on the government to remove all hanging points in custodial settings and make prisons safer for everyone.
