De-accession, deface, or behead the 22 ft tall "Brawny Woodsman" idol that was emplaced on the third Oregon Capitol Building in 1938, the so-called "Oregon Pioneer",  and replace it with a cupola like the first two capitol buildings had.  

If a cupola is impractical, open a series of public hearings to decide what should take the place of the de-accessioned idol.  

It should be politically and tribally neutral in not bearing a human likeness or animal totem, for example a stele,  a bell, or an Oregon flag.

We should from our neighboring states, none of which have an idol on their buildings, but rather cupolas.  Washington State Capitol​, California State Capitol.  The Idaho State Capitol features a replica of the "Winged Victory", Nike of Samothrace, which has no head or arms.
