Spring Lake Township Residents in case you are asking why we have started a SLTWP Waste Hauler petition - we are asking the SLTWP Board to amend both the exclusive Republic Services agreement and waste hauler ordinance to remove the exclusivity clause. Allowing residents choice for residential waste hauler service and not the local government authority dictating the company selected. As well as inclusion of local waste haulers to bid on services.

It is a say in what happens with our tax payer money and having a choice is what this petition is about.  It's not about if you like Republic or not.  Okay, a little bit. To others it means something that is important to them, choice.  By signing this petition does not say you are signing because your are in favor or against Republic.  It is about choice.  This is just the tip of the iceberg of what the SLTWP Board has done and what they are about to do with your tax payer money.
