As a concerned parent of Centerville City Schools, I am deeply disturbed by the recent allegations against Ed Pokorski, a school bus driver entrusted with the safety of our children. It has come to light that Mr. Pokorski has been accused and caught on camera admitting to taking inappropriate pictures of minor children and women at a  pool while on vacation with his family in Myrtle Beach,SC. This behavior is not only unacceptable but deeply violates the trust we place in those responsible for transporting our children safely.

Our community deserves to feel safe, and we have the right to expect the highest standards of conduct from employees of our school district. Allowing someone with allegations of such serious misconduct to continue working as a bus driver jeopardizes the safety and well-being of all students under the care of Centerville City Schools.

It is imperative that the Centerville City Schools administration takes immediate action to ensure the safety of our children. Immediate termination of Mr. Pokorski’s employment must be followed by a thorough investigation into the allegations against him. The welfare of our community’s children should be our primary concern, and it is crucial that we hold those in positions of trust accountable for their actions.

This is a call to action for our school board and administration to protect our children and maintain the integrity of our community by removing Ed Pokorski from his position. Every day he remains in his position is another day where the safety of our children is at risk.
