Hello Everyone, 
Ebt or snap foodstamps are a vital resource for any low income family or family in need, That being said, personally Ive lived most my life as a "low income family" and shopping is a real nightmare.
 in most shops foods that are served "hot" are the same price as the ones that are served cold, but most of the time there are barely any of the "cold" versions due to other families on foodstamps, trying to get a "nourishing meal" such as rotiserie chickens at wallmart or subs at local shopping chains like publix,And will often more times then most have to do as we all would and try to get something different, but most of the times "ecspecially after food stamp day" most stores and even high end retail locations like wallmart will be completely picked clean of soda, juice, and will often times have to spend 100's if not thousands having to drive to a different store or location inorder to be able to have the chance to buy what their household requires and more times then not, will have an "exact" shopping list knowing what they can afford,and what will last to keep their family fed. if items arnt available what alternitives they can not only afford but will last.  as previously mentioned most times after foodstamps are given out the stores are picked clean as they are , and  most times your lucky if you can get anything soda shelves empty maybe 1 or 2 juice brands if your lucky.

most large "family" sized juice is around $5 and even gatorade can be as high as $30 for a 24 pack of 20 oz drinks and a 28 12 oz pack  at the cheapest being $19 for just a single pack meanwhile a single 24 pack of 12 oz soda is as low as $8 letting the families not only have something flavorful to drink but can most often times last the entire month. the new ebt ban in 2026 is going to not only take away what is in most stores an entire isle inelgible while most gatorade and juices are barely even a single shelf ,not only barely enough to have juice for a few days but also takes more money out of families wallets and mouths. not only causing havoc but also wasting more food and resources in the process similar to when the "healthier schools" act had come around n was pushed forward, thousands of dollars of food thrown away because no one would eat it and would just wait hungry until they could go eat at home because there voices were ignored
