Background.

So as we all know if you stick around for the podium you will know that the song Drive-by Ed Sheeran gets played cutting short the legendary champagne music when the drivers spray the champagne and get together for a podium photo.

I would just like to say I would like this removed and reverted back to the full champagne music pre F1 movie days, being played as hearing the legendary piece while the top 3 sink in their moment only for it to be cut short by “Hay a lay laaa” Is just so unfitting for a podium situation and especially so for an example Hamilton winning in Barcelona or Lando Norris winning the Championship in Abu Dhabi it just feels so off putting to hear a pop rock song on the podium every time after a race especially during history being made.

I just turn off the race as soon as it is due to play. But I would like to be able to go back to the days where I would watch the podium where the drivers take their photo.

So who’s with me and please take note F1.

I mean I don’t hate Ed Sheeran and will not die on the hill. I don’t think he is right for a Motorsport podium.
