Dr. Kathryn Burke, lab manager for chemistry at the University of Delaware, has refused to behave in the best interests of all her students. She especially has been negligent in her compliance with the university-sanctioned accommodations for students with disabilities. She is inaccessible and inflexible to the students in her courses. Her communications are at times condescending and inappropriate. 

How long will the university allow this to continue? How many complaints must be filed? How many petitions will be ignored? How many phone calls with no response? What has to happen for the university to take this matter seriously?

Attempts to correct this situation have been made by reaching out to Dr. Burke, Pres. Assanis, Dr. Dybowski, Dr. Bahnson, Prof. Rosenthal, the office of student services, and others. These communications have been ignored or have not resulted in any positive progress in rectifying the matter.

The University of Delaware needs to remove her from the university immediately, not because her course is hard, but because she is heartless and harmful to those she is supposed to educate.
