In August of 2022, Donna Casamento was named as CEO of IndyHumane. In her time as CEO, the tenants that were at the core of IndyHumane have been eroded. As of today, 79 employees have quit or been fired for voicing opinions and concerns over the wellbeing of animals housed at IndyHumane.  In addition to losing many long term employees, IndyHumane has hemorrhaged volunteers and donors. Donna is destroying this once great organization- as she's done at previous shelters where she has been employed. The board is refusing to remove her. IndyHumane will need a complete overhaul in management and board to be the organization it once was.
