David Jimenez became principal of Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics in the beginning of the 2007-2008 school year. Every year since his tenure as principal began, the school has been in turmoil. At least once a year, the school has been in the news for a multitude of reasons, ranging from sexual misconduct by its principal to impropriety by him and his administration. As graduates and people who care fondly about the school, we are tired of our alma mater being dragged through the mud continuously. As such, we demand that Principal David Jimenez and anyone associated with his chaotic administration be removed. Furthermore, we ask that there be an independent investigation launched to uncover the truth about the ongoings at Manhattan Center. We want order restored to Manhattan Center, so that future students can succeed and be proud to say they graduated from our school.
