The crypto space is a fast moving industry in today’s modern world. It is still considered something advanced and majority of the population do not fully understand the idea of a blockchain.

Fraudsters are taking advantage of vulnerable individuals who are just beginning to “invest” in crypto to cash in on their gains with different kinds of scams. 

Crypterium is not the phoney kind of scam lurking around in telegram groups or get-quick-rich facebook posts. 

It is beautifully crafted and designed. They even had a bogus referral scheme which was why I got a wallet there in the first place. For starters, the website and app interface looks and feel legitimate. 

On both Apple’s App store and Google’s Play Store, the wallet mobile application is available for download. Unsuspecting victims either deposited funds into the wallet or ordered their prepaid debit card which either did not function or did not arrive

There isn’t really a confirmed refund policy and support team over at Crypterium basically just kept telling everyone to wait.

Users were encouraged to deposit their crypto assets into their wallet and we could perform a variety of transactions instantly. However it seems impossible to withdraw our funds. Crypterium’s site and application promised instant withdrawals, but most of us have had our transactions pending for days and weeks. 

support staff claimed: “technical issues”

i am by no means educated in the regulations pertaining e-payments and cryptocurrency, so i’m not one to speak. however i have already reported this company to my local governing regulatory board. I urge you to do the same, wherever you may live, so that these criminals can be taken down and justice will be served

lastly, i have been banned from the official telegram chat because staff accused me of allegedly spreading FUD. The entire group chat is a total joke

Please sign this petition because the internet should be a safe environment for all of us.
This is not about how much money we have lost to these scammers or how we can retrieve our money.

If we want more real, innovative crypto fintechs to finally solve the many issues we face as crypto holders, first we must resolve to remove the fakes from our community. The more we sit back and relax, the more fundings they receive from each victim that falls prey to their scam- these funds indirectly fuels their criminal activities.

i look forward to the day the masses will have a complete peace of mind when transacting with cryptocurrencies anywhere. we will no longer be vulnerable when making payments on the internet.
