Angela Caputo, a city councillor in Sault Ste. Marie, has consistently failed to embody the values and interests of her constituents. Marie deserves a unified leadership, one that reflects the views and needs of its people – a leadership Angela Caputo does not provide.

Rather than supporting policies that benefit all citizens, her approach often isolates those with differing opinions, painting a skewed image of what Sault Ste. Marie stands for. Our town's reputation is at stake. Increasingly, people outside Sault Ste. Marie see our city through the lens of one councillor whose controversial standpoint does not reflect our collective character. It is disheartening to witness our city being associated with divisive politics rather than the community-focused ethos we hold dear.

The role of a city councillor is to represent their constituents' views and to act in the best interest of the community as a whole. When a representative's personal agenda overshadows their duty to their constituents, it is time for change. We need leaders who listen, who consider diverse perspectives, and who prioritize the well-being of the entire community.
