Kia ora!

Two months to the day since I closed the petition on the Parliament website, I have been informed by the Executive Assistant to M.P. Phil Twyford that my petition will go before Parliament to be tabled before Question Time on 16 July 2025.

This is the final act in my petition. I am very proud of everyone who has signed it, sponsored it financially and shared it on social media.

After Parliament, this petition on Change will be closed. It has gone as far it can. I have been informed that it will be mentioned in support of the Parliament petition when the latter is tabled. There are no plans to progress any further.

There will be possibly two more updates. The first will be on or about 16 July, when I know the outcome of the Parliament petition tabling. The second depends on Parliament chooses to do with the petition. Updates beyond that point are contingent on the decision made.
