Carmen Ruiz met with Senator Tom Wright in June on behalf of the Beacon Center. She has since refused to disclose to the rest of the board or the Beacon Center who was present or what was discussed. After sabotaging the CEO, less than 48 hours after the CEO left she brought Tom Wright into the domestic violence shelter. Tom Wright assaulted the interim CEO in front of survivors and their children. Carmen continued to give him a tour, was upset law enforcement trespassed him, and took Tom to her business, Fast Signs in Holly Hill. Carmen Ruiz has breached her duty to Beacon Center. She needs to be removed.
