Remove Bus Route 44 from Mason's Way and leave the Express Service (X6) as it is

The Issue

We respectfully request the removal of Bus 44 from our neighborhood due to several significant issues that are affecting the well-being of our community. The ongoing operation of Bus 44 in this area is no longer serving its intended purpose and has become a source of inconvenience and disruption.
Our Concerns:
Low Capacity Usage: Bus 44 consistently operates with low passenger numbers, with many buses running virtually empty. This inefficient use of resources is a waste of public funds, as the service is not meeting the needs of the local population.
Disruption to a Quiet Neighborhood: The constant movement of buses, particularly those running empty, causes unnecessary noise and disruption in what is otherwise a peaceful residential area. This has a negative impact on the quality of life for those living in the vicinity, particularly families, elderly residents, and those seeking a quiet environment.
Excessive Frequency: Bus 44 runs far too frequently for the needs of the community, contributing to increased congestion and noise pollution. Many buses pass through Mason's Way without any significant demand, adding to the disturbance and unease for local residents.
In light of these concerns, we urge the relevant authorities to reconsider the current route of Bus 44. We believe that removing this bus from Mason's Way will not only improve the quality of life for residents but also lead to better resource allocation and a more efficient public transportation system.
