I am writing this petition based on personal experiences that have become a nightmare for myself, my family and a handful of students, teachers and parents at Firebaugh High School. Brady Jenkins, a pivotal figure at the school, is accused of corruption, bullying, and improper behavior.

Not only are these allegations emerging from various members within the community, but my family, particularly my brother and I, have also been on the receiving end of his unjust actions. In an unjust incident, he accused my brother and I of smoking on the school grounds, which was untrue. This became a regular habit, with my brother constantly being misjudged. After his patience wore thin, my brother confronted Mr. Jenkins, who responded aggressively, insinuating that my brother was destined for "Puente", a continuation school notoriously renowned for students that misbehave or perform poorly in academics. This could not be further from the truth as my brother was actually maintaining his academic progress during that phase.

The confrontation escalated, leading to the arrest of my brother. My mother tried to intervene, only to be left with a fractured finger by Brady. Ultimately, we were left with legal charges thrown at my brother, all completely unwarranted. The harassment has continued, through unofficial channels as well. Enough is enough.

This petition aims to gather enough voices to hold Brady Jenkins accountable for his actions, not only against myself and my family but also the numerous students, teachers, and parents of Firebaugh High School. His continued employment propagates an unhealthy culture of fear and distrust rather than fostering a positive, learning environment.

Accountability and justice demand that Brady Jenkins be removed from his position. We plead with the school's administration to reassess the culture it promotes and make changes for a better atmosphere. This is our collective, heartfelt appeal, and it's high time it is addressed.
