We are writing this to petition for the removal of the newly implemented bike lanes from the White Plains Road district in the Bronx NY. These bike lanes changed traffic dynamics, causing difficulty for drivers, riders, and pedestrians. Not only have these routes created chaos and congestion, but they have also severely affected first-responder response times, which in turn jeopardizes the well-being of everyone in this community. It has eliminated the street parking capacity, severely impacting the financial prosperity of small businesses and the community's residents.

Ydanis Rodriguez and the Department of Transportation do not care about our community; they have done ZERO outreach to see how these protected bike lanes would affect the families and businesses here. Zero outreach, and no inclusion.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens, who are urging our leaders to act now to remove these bike lanes immediately. Not doing this in a swift matter could cause fatalities in our community. Fatalities that will be avoided if we act now.
