EastEnders used to be must-watch TV — full of tension, energy, and unforgettable drama. Now it’s almost unrecognizable. Under Ben Wadey’s leadership, the show has become dull, directionless, and nearly unwatchable.

Fans are fed up with boring storylines, endless filler episodes, and plots that drag on for months without payoff. The show feels like it’s on autopilot, with no creativity, no excitement, and no sense of urgency. Storylines that should be explosive are dragged to death. Strong characters are being ruined. The energy and spark that made the show great are long gone.

We, the loyal viewers, have had enough. Ben Wadey’s tenure has been a disaster, and it’s dragging EastEnders down with him. It’s time for the BBC to step in, remove him as producer, and bring in someone who actually understands the show and its legacy.

If something doesn’t change soon, EastEnders risks losing even more fans — not because people stopped caring, but because the current production has made it impossible to care anymore.
