Wow! I really did not expect 30+ signatures in one day by word of mouth alone. This is going really quickly and I'm so happy to see this. I just wanted to write a quick update to thank you all.
Because of all of these supporters, I'll share a brief bit of transparency into what will be done with this petition.
As you could probably guess, I'm collecting evidence of Mrs. Blakeman's incompetence. This is the "logic" aspect of this plan, but unfortunately not every person in a position of power cares about what is right. So, that's where you all come in!
You are the "pressure:" The force, the motivator, the collective ruling of all students. The most important factor in all of this is you, and you are the biggest variable in this campaign.
Do you want to make a change? Do you want to prevent all of the future kids from being funneled to Mrs. Blakeman in a required course? If you do, sign the petition and share share share! The more people know about this, the higher the chance you'll walk into a Blakeman-free building in August.
Wilson County can say no to me. They cannot say no to hundreds of students and parents.
Sign the petition. Share it with your friends. What you contribute makes a difference.
Thank you for reading and assisting me on this topic.
