I'm a concerned parent deeply troubled by the behaviors of Ash Trevino on the platform TikTok. My concern stems from the fact that she is interacting with boys the same age as my son. This behavior is personally distressing and underscores a potentially broader issue on the platform - the safety and appropriateness of interactions among TikTok users. From my perspective, Ash's actions violate community standards and contribute to an unsafe environment. TikTok as a platform has a responsibility to ensure that the interactions taking place on it are appropriate, respectful and safe, especially given that it hosts a large underage audience. According to a survey by Statista in 2020, 32.5% of US TikTok users are aged between 10 and 19. For the protection of these young users, take action. We ask TikTok to investigate and, if they find Ash guilty of breaching community standards, to remove her from the platform. Please support this call for accountability and child safety.
