I am a long-term taxpayer of Springfield, OH, and like many of you, I have seen our city, once flourishing and vibrant, descend into economic uncertainty and instability due to the poor management choices of our city officials. Their decisions have not just affected numbers on a sheet; they have affected our lives, our community's well-being, and our children's future. It's time we stand together to make a change.

Under the current management, Springfield has suffered from a series of poor decisions that have resulted in a significant financial deficit. The deficit is estimated to be in the millions. This financial crisis threatens the quality of services and making daily life more difficult and less secure for all of us.

The decisions made by our city’s management have also affected job opportunities and economic growth. Vital local businesses are struggling or closing, unable to endure the economic strain exacerbated by the city's fiscal mismanagement. Our community's development has been severely hindered, making it harder for families to thrive and for young people to see a future right here in Springfield.

It's time for action. We need a management team that is accountable, transparent, and truly dedicated to revitalizing Springfield. We propose a rigorous and open process to evaluate and replace the current city management with qualified professionals who have a proven track record in turning city deficits into surpluses and fostering sustainable community growth.

Please join me in asking for the removal and replacement of the City of Springfield's management. By signing this petition, you are taking a stand for a brighter future for Springfield, for responsible leadership, and for a return to prosperity and vibrancy in our beloved city. With your support, we can demand real change and work towards rebuilding our community into one we can all be proud of again.
