Creating this petition in behalf of those who are petrified to voice what's going on in our little town. We are facing a serious threat to the safety and well-being of our children from an individual who holds a position of responsibility as a school crossing guard. This individual has been causing fear and distress among the children of our community due to their abusive behavior, both mentally and physically. Creating physical fights with parents in front of children scaring them and laughing at/mocking them for crying and being afraid. Someone who gives Children at the Elementary dirty looks and scares them, makes them afraid for their lives.

It's alarming that this person, who should be ensuring the safe passage of our children to school, is creating an environment of fear and anxiety. children have expressed their fear for their personal safety around this person. This is not an atmosphere conducive to their learning and development.

Moreover, this individual's past criminal record is deeply concerning. With charges related to the sale of methadone, it is clear that this person is not fit to hold a position of trust and responsibility, particularly one that involves direct contact with children.

As citizens of Groveton, we cannot stand by and allow this to continue. We owe it to our children to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment, free from fear and danger. The role of a crossing guard is critical, and it must be filled by someone who embodies safety and trust.

I urge you to sign this petition to demand immediate action to remove this individual from their position and, if necessary, from our town.
