Voting in the November 2d election will determine its fate if you live in Riverhead--or have friends who do.

The candidates' night in Jamesport and news stories make clear that the three Republican candidates are locked into giving away to the Ghermezian family the 1040 environmentally sensitive acres.  

The three Democrats pledge to cancel a terrible contract in order to regain control of the land we need to protect and will responsibly develop the remaining 600 acres.

You have many things to consider in deciding how to vote.  If saving the EPCAL land is a priority, choose Row "A" for Supervisor Catherine Kent, Board Members Evelyn Hobson-Womack and Juan Micieli-Martinez and Assessors Ellen Hoil and Tara Taylor.
