Most of us being heads of our households, yondr pouches cause many problems for us older students. whether we pay for our own phone bills or not,  many of us use phones during class for photographing notes, checking on our grades, checking our schedules virtually, and letting classmates know of what is going on in their absence. all things that are self taught ways to use phones as they are, RESOURCES rather than distractions. Many of us older students find that it is more of a distraction not being able to feel safe and comfortable with being able to communicate with people outside the school in case of emergency. whether it be with family, friends, or even threats inside the school that came about un-detected. attempting to solve a issue with a bigger SAFETY issue isn't a proper resolution. And this isn't saying that some students may not benefit with the removal of their devices, but as a whole general punishment for each student regardless of their needs and situation out of school is an absurdity considering the increase of violence in the Bronx that can affect any student, or students family at any time. We thank you for reading this in full and urge you to consider this; Juniors at AECI 2 should be given the chance to prove that the use of yondr pouches isn't beneficial to every student that walks through the doors, and should be given to those who break the rules we have been shown when we signed up for this school in the first place.
