We, the undersigned citizens and passionate supporters of Colombian soccer, respectfully submit this petition to request that the Colombian national football team no longer exclusively play their home matches at the Metropolitano Stadium in Barranquilla. We propose that the national team play matches in various cities across Colombia, allowing fans from all regions to experience the thrill of supporting their team in person and fostering greater national unity and pride.

• Equality of Opportunity for All Fans: Colombia is a vast and diverse country with passionate soccer fans spread across every region. Currently, the majority of national team matches are concentrated in Barranquilla, leaving many fans from cities like Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, and others with limited opportunities to watch their team play live. By rotating venues across Colombia, fans from different regions would have the chance to support the team in their own cities, enhancing the overall national fan experience.

• Boosting Regional Support and Tourism: Hosting national team matches in various cities would provide a major boost to local economies, tourism, and businesses. Cities that have never hosted a national team match would see increased tourism, and local businesses would benefit from the influx of fans. This would also contribute to a sense of inclusion and unity as the national team is represented across the entire nation.

• Promoting Soccer Culture Nationwide: By spreading matches across different cities, we encourage the growth of soccer culture in areas where the sport may not be as prominent. Young fans from smaller cities or rural areas would be able to see their idols up close, inspiring the next generation of Colombian soccer talent.

• Infrastructure Readiness: Colombia is home to several world-class stadiums capable of hosting international matches. Venues in Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, and other major cities are ready to accommodate the national team, providing safe, modern facilities for both players and fans.

• National Unity: Colombia is a nation built on diversity, and by rotating the national team’s home matches, we promote a stronger sense of national unity. Each region of Colombia would have a stake in the national team's success, bringing the entire country together in support of one common goal.
