Protest against "Judensau" in Wittenberg The initiators of the protests are the former director of the Evangelical Academy in Hamburg, Ulrich Hentschel, the Jewish scholar Micha Brumlik and the theologian Uwe-Karsten Plisch. According to Hentschel, they want to read passages from Luther's anti-Jewish writings on the market square in Wittenberg on 28 October. The municipality of the town church and the Wittenberg town council have so far expressed themselves for the preservation of the relief.
