The post office building in Hertford, the county seat of Perquimans County, NC, is a disgrace.   It is old, small, and was severely damaged after being run into by a customer's car.   I propose to move it to the location formerly occupied by the State Employees Credit Union.  There would be ample room for employees, parking, deliveries and public use.  There would be no more cars scraping bottom as they pull in and out of the 4 available parking spaces onto a busy street.  The post office employees and citizens of Perquimans County deserve a better building more in line with other beautification projects in the town.
