As a resident of a one-way-in-and-out neighborhood, I along with my neighbors have experienced extreme disruptions due to an annual bicycle race event. The race has led to road closures, forcing many citizens to stay in or miss out on their vital schedules, whether it's attending church, going to work, or catching a flight. Important personal commitments such as appointments and parties have also been abandoned because of these road closures.

This event is causing inconvenience for hundreds of residents. The situation is acute for us who reside in neighborhoods with a single entrance and exit, as we are entirely cut off from the outside world for the duration of the event. The significant lack of alternative routes has made our daily lives challenging and stressful.

Our request is simple - to relocate the bicycle race to a venue that does not disrupt the daily routines and personal obligations of the residents, or at least provide us with a reasonable, well-planned detour. While we respect and encourage such sporting events, it is essential that they are conducted without causing unnecessary disturbances to the citizens' lives.

Therefore, we're urgently asking for public support to address this issue. Join us in requesting the race organizers and the local authorities to consider relocating the race to a less disruptive location or scheduling it in a manner that does not hinder our lives.
