The Villa de Dolphiné was filmed at the former Rochelle's Motel, located in 3333 Lakewood Boulevard, Donald Douglas Drive, Long Beach, CA. The motel had closed prior to filming and the production team managed to lease the property to shoot all the motel scenes. The motel was demolished after production ended.

This motel's name, Villa de Dolphiné, means "Dolphin Village" in French.
