As a devoted viewer and fan of the phenomenal show Arcane, I’ve developed a deep connection with its main characters, particularly Jinx and Ekko. Their raw and real storylines resonate with my own experiences, stirring my emotions every step of the journey. However, the truncated version of the finale seems to miss out on a crucial hour of content, predominantly about these two characters. This vital missing content appears to undermine the hard-won complexity and depth of their personas and makes the final episode appear unduly rushed.

Keeping in mind that Arcane’s first season was watched by a staggering 21 million households across the globe in its first four weeks, it is apparent that the sentiments I express are shared by millions around the world (Source: Netflix's fourth-quarter 2021 earnings report). The depth and robust character development in Arcane contribute compellingly to its appeal, and the omitted scenes in the finale unintentionally shortchange both the characters and the audience.

In the spirit of preserving the integrity of the narrative and the authenticity of character development that Arcane has so masterfully showcased throughout its first season, we implore Netflix, Fortiche, and Riot to release the uncut 60-minute longer version of the finale.
