George Lucas’s "Special Edition" modifications:

The films we watch in streaming services and call them “originals” are heavily modified versions of Star Wars.  
These changes add aged CGI, alter character arcs , and replace original actors and puppets. They  don't just change the movies, they erase history!

The changes cover up the Oscar-winning, practical effects of the originals with dated digital graphics.

Alterations like "Han Shot First" ruin vital character development, while added scenes like “Jedi Rocks” ruin the style and pace of the films. 
These films are historical cultural artifacts. Modifying the films and calling it original is disrespectful to the artists who worked on these films. 

Our Demand: We want the official, high-definition release of the original, unaltered 1977, 1980, and 1983 theatrical cuts. Please let us choose the version we want to watch, either the Original cut or the special edition. Let fans choose!
